Thanks again for all your patience regarding all my questions and change of plans. The place looks great. I was able to put up my curtains up yesterday.

The renovations have made a difference and I am so glad that you were able to finish the work before the cold weather started to kick in. When you find the perfect door ( at a very good price) please let me know and we will have it installed in the front.

I am very happy that we went ahead with the French Door and drywall for the front entrance. I already noticed the difference in temperature and it helps to keep the cats in the house. I will take a few last pictures of the house and will send you some before and after pictures. I will also have all the pictures (200 pic) on a CD for you so that you can pick and choose. I wanted to take pictures from all angles.

Thanks again and I hope you will have time to relax and get ready for Christmas. I am happy that the boys enjoyed the cookies and coffee cards. They were all very reliable and worked hard.

Hey Justin. We're so happy to see and feel our warm and inviting finished basement. We had a great time over the weekend getting it presentable and furnished which means we now have a nursery-to-be on our second level.

I liked very much the design with the island as I (perhaps contrary to the Greeks) like things to have a symmetrical appearance. The peninsula, while totally functional and very much in keeping with the spirit of the renovation was not as symmetrical as my (is it right or left) brain was looking for. Having an island equally spaced between the two outer walls and cabinets, etc, better suited what I was looking for. I know someone who has done a lot of work in art, vis a vis the golden ratio, and while "get it" I'm still locked into symmetry as it is what most appeals to me senses
